Are you one of many Pretty Little Liars fans who’s anticipating the season 7 premiere in hopes of finally getting to the bottom of the Uber A mystery? Then get excited, because the show’s executive producer, Marlene King, is dishing about what to expect!
In an exclusive interview with Alloy Entertainment that was conducted during a recent set visit, Marlene told us that fans can look forward to this year being one of returns and endings. “It is definitely a season of homecomings and closures,” she said when asked of the upcoming season’s defining arc.
We’ve survived plenty of jaw-dropping PLL reveals at this point, but King promises that the reveal of A.D. aka A-moji, the biggest tormentor of them all, will be different in many ways than the ones that have come before. “Uber A is the smartest of all the As, the most intense of all the As, the most driven to win the game of all the As. And I can’t tell you if you’ve seen the person before or not because that might spoil something a little bit later down the line.”
King promises more surprises are ahead with regards to Uber A’s backstory as well. There are plenty of suspects to choose from at this point, but two things she confirmed are that what we learn about the mastermind behind it all will be both “heartbreaking” and “surprising.” “It’s heartbreaking in some ways, extremely interesting in others and surprising. It is surprising,” she confirms.
There are Uber A theories about practically every character from Alison herself to Tippy the Bird, so we can’t wait for the final reveal.
We’d love to hear some of your Uber A stories. Let’s talk about them in the comments below!
